I have this incorrigible streak that reacts to new technology (software and hardware), that basically starts this little chant in my head “let me have a turn” which really translates as “let me play”
The fastest way for me to engage in a project is to be attracted by a new technology, followed by an almost as fast disengagement if the technology doesn’t make sense or is difficult to use.
From a work perspective (going back to Elle Luna’s “musts”) I am increasingly aware these last few days how easily energised I am by exploring new tools and championing improvements.
I’m still struggling on how to say this but it is quite company and technology agnostic – my focus narrows down to how do I make this work.
